We were not planning on having a cat in the house. Sure, we eventually wanted to have a couple of kittens, but we didn't feel we were ready yet, not after losing Kisa last year. And we're planning to move at the end of next year, so we figured we'd revisit the kitten idea sometime after moving

Kitties!!!! Behind our apartment building is a small park and we always see stray cats. I'm not sure if they're feral or part-time outdoor cats but they're not afraid of people and actually accept treats. That's very cool of you to get those ferals and get them fixed. I can't wait to see pictures of Kella. I swear, if we had a house with hardwood floors, I'd end up with 2 more cats.

Update: this morning we saw the mother and the grey kitten out back again. The mother is very, very wary, but the kitten likes the laser pointer.

I firmly believe that cats adopt people, not the other way around, so I am sure she was meant to be yours. :)
