I'm sorry, but being poor sucks

I wanted to do something fun for our birthdays (mine was yesterday, Greg's is today), but instead what are we doing? Spending $300 we don't have on tires for my car. Because one went flat and the rest are all running on about 1/4 inch of rubber. Son of a bitch. Seriously. Worst birthday ever.

This is my application for your friends list :)

I went to UW for two years for Opera and decided I want to go to UW instead. Trying out friday.

I love your Icons. (that has to mean SOMETHING in lj-life)

Your interests are my interests and I'd like to witness your rise to stardom.

Yay! New friend! I bet we actually know all the same people too, since I did summerstock last year.

Besides, friending you now is the only way I can know who my true friends are once I get rich and famous/win the lottery. Whichever comes first, you know.

I'm confused by your comment though - you went to UW, then Western, and now back to UW? For opera? You better not be a mezzo, or we'll have to have the traditional dueling voice fach throwdown.

Oh my god. No, I'm just a moron.

I went to UW on a scholarship and now I want to go to WWU.

just shoot me. I'm tired.

I am a mezzo at this point - though margot thinks I'm actually a soprano. UW thought I was a contralto. Silly Julian Patrick.

Uh oh. I get so used to being surround by sopranos (i.e. non-competition) that when I meet a real mezzo, my back arches and I hiss like a Halloween kitty.

Yeah, the one time I met Julian Patrick, he was an ass to me. He wasn't even saying mean things, but he really managed to ass it up. It was a showing of pure talent.

Speaking of, are you doing your masters right now? Because perhaps we aren't so far apart in age. Did you go to Bellingham High?
