Needed a Spoonful of Sugar to Help that Episode Go Down - Today's Recap, 12/25/09

Dec 25, 2009 18:12

I'm sure you know, but my title is a nod to Mary Poppins, because ATWT TOTALLY played an instrumental version of "Feed the Birds" at the end of the episode. :-) And now I have Mary Poppins songs stuck in my head ( Read more... )

I was just so glad to see the boys together that all the sadness didn't bother me so much, of course I love the angst. I think Noah is in a very bad place still and until he pulls himself out of that we are definitely in for more angsty!Nuke.

I totally agree - Noah is definitely in a very bad place right now, and it's not that I blame him, exactly, for being angry or upset or even pushing Luke away...it's just so hard to watch since I'm so used to sweetheart Noah. And Luke is trying so very hard to do everything he can for Noah...it's just so bittersweet and sad! :-(

But it was great seeing them together onscreen. I can't wait for more drama in January!

I agree so much!
And this is the last Christmas for the show! :(:(
Emma/Noah hug was just too sweet. And the Snyder siblings totally rocked!
And oh, that Ethan/Luke scene! Melted my heart.

LA LA LA LA DON'T SAY THAT WE'RE STILL HOPING.

Everything else about this episode was gold! Why the boys be treated so bad?

I think this sets up the next storyline or by New Year's a Happy beginning to 2010 whereas last year it was reversed, I hope.

Merry Christmas, Honey and G. *hugs*

Yeah. This Christmas really felt sad at the Snyder's. And not in the overt way like with Brad's goodbyes either. Which makes it even more painful in a way. :(

But I did liked seeing them at least. And there were good moments there. They just haven't healed at all, which is honest I guess. But I think they definitely showed that the boys still love each other. Luke's side is obvious. Noah's side - well, he considered Luke/Snyder's home. He wanted to be where Luke was. He was pretty into the hug? I don't know. Sigh. It hurts seeing the boys like this, I agree. They need to move forward and be the sweet & in love that they are! :P

You too, Ronnie! *squish*

Le sigh. At second blush, their ending scene with the "four senses" gift wasn't so bad (though they SO totally could've rounded it out with Luke saying something encouraging and cute) but on the whole I was really disappointed. And by that, I mean irrationally pissed. >:O F-. Redo and resubmit. Your offering does not please the Honey.

Merry Christmas, Ronnie! *HUGS*

Totally sad episode today. I hate even saying this, but I feel like I need more reassurance that Noah loves Luke. Luke was totally obvious in his feelings, but Noah's reaction to this whole thing really left me uneasy. :-( I miss the sweethearted Noah who's completely buttcrazy in love with Luke!

But I did like that he wanted to be with Luke (he even said "please", as in like, "Let me stay with you, please!" *faint*), and I love how they all welcomed him so warmly! That was wonderful. I just want the boys back in a good place (even though I love the soapy drama! Argh...I'm just torn all over the place!) Hehe!
