To appear at such an event would compromise our morals. It is wasteful in both funds and time.

Even if we were to spend time and money on it, sir, it would be an investment. I believe it will do wonders for our image. If we don't go, both the students and the professors will think of us as antisocial snobs, and allow me to say that that is the last thing we need.

But I see you don't plan to waste money on it, and that's perfectly understandable. You could just wear one of your own suits, and I'll just wear some of the things I've brought here.
