The World's Smallest Violin Plays for Mick, Alison, and Liberty - Today's Recap, 2/17/10

Feb 17, 2010 15:42

Wanna know my feelings about today's episode in a nutshell?

Liberty: Let the dumb bitch die.

Mick: Kill yourself. Again. (If at first you don't succeed...)

Alison: There's rock bottom, fifty feet of crap, and then you. You made your bed, now sleep in it. Without Casey.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HAHA. Anyway.

You guys know how I feel about Liberty. The girl hasn't got one redeeming quality. Not unless she's with Parker and trying to save his life. So, I'm not emotionally onboard with this whole leukemia-chemo storyline of hers. If this was Faith's storyline, I'd be glued to the screen. But since Liberty has repeatedly shown herself to be an immature, idiotic 17-year-old, I could really care less. Though I have to give her props for going to Jack today and actually resembling a normal human being while talking to him. It was nice that she wanted his backup when she went to talk to Janet about the whole donor thing.

But, apparently Liberty needn't have worried, because Janet already knew. And since Janet has this whole conflict with her parents since they threw her out when she got pregnant, I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens when Dusty confronts Janet's father. I hope he comes through for Janet. (Ugh...and Liberty.)

And Jack and Carly. Hoo-boy. Question: Aren't there cameras in the holding rooms at the station? You would think there would be, since they're holding potential criminals in there. So Jack snogging Carly's face off in one of those rooms might not be the best idea for keeping their "encounters" under wraps. :-P

But...damn it, I love Jack Snyder. I know he's not doing the right thing, and I hate cheating of any kind, but when you love someone, you love someone, am I right? I feel bad that Jack's stuck in a bad place at the moment, and I really want him to just to break free and be with Carly. They're both so gaga over each other that it's starting to be silly for them to keep dancing around one another.

Same goes with Janet and Dusty. This marriage with Jack obviously isn't working. The spark is gone, and Janet's more drawn to Dusty than ever. And I'm assuming she will be even more so when she learns that Dusty reached out to her parents on behalf of Liberty. Oy. The four of them need the ol' switcheroo. Partner Swap.

I'm telling you...Dusty and Carly should team up to get what they want. It could be seamless. :-)

And Craig's back! Been a while since we've seen Craig. And he's up to no good, it looks like, since he blatantly lied to Carly's face about Morrison (or whatever the dude's name was). And seriously...Morrison does a background check, and Carly's history comes up as worse than Craig's? Is that possible? I know they both have their fair share of skeletons in the closet, but...I dunno about that one! *shrug*

And Casey. Oh, Casey. I just wanna huggle him for a good, long while. Did you see how he was about to keep Ali from leaving the house, but the strategically placed phone call to Ali about Mick prevented him from it? I'm sad that he's hurting, but at this point, I don't want him with Ali anymore. He needs someone who will not handle his heart so selfishly and recklessly. And I'm glad he got his ring back.

And Mick. Dare I say anything? I admit, I didn't really want Paul to pull the plug, because it would reflect badly on Paul, but there was a part of me that truly didn't care if he did. :-P Actually, thinking about it now, it might have been kinda cool. But I still believe that the best payback is living well, so good on Paul. :-) Leave everything behind and just focus on Emily and Eliza now. :-)

And Alison crying over Mick? Thought I was gonna throw up. I still do not see any real attraction or chemistry between them. When Ali was crying over him, I was rolling my eyes and wishing for the next scene to start. And his heart magically starts beating again when she kisses him. Good Lord. If all we needed were kisses to fix hearts, saving lives would be so easy. Huh. Imagine what kinda world we would have if kisses really fixed all the boo-boos. :-) The healthcare system would be quite interesting to work in, don't you think? :-P (And...maybe kinda gross, too...)

Ooh, and previews! HOLDEN'S GOING TO TURN HIMSELF IN! THERE'S THE HOLDEN SNYDER I KNOW AND LOVE! So maybe now we'll get to see more of the dock fight with Damian. Maybe we'll get to see the truth. :-D

LOL. And Lily questioning Holden about what happened? HAHA. Holden: Well, you see, Lily...when you make someone ingest an oar, it doesn't quite work with their digestive system that well, so...draw your own conclusions.

HAHAHAHA! But what is this confession going to do to Luke? He's already on the verge of losing his shit...this might be what sets him over the edge. :-( (But also :-) because Van fricking Hansis is such a good actor and the woobie faces he makes strike pain into my heart and I just love it all so much.)

Hee!
