for those of you who were worrying . . . Kitty has emerged! She wandered over while we were trying to make the Wii work with the tivo, cable and DVD player. We immediately stopped messing with electronics and lavished affection and attention on her for a good 45 minutes. now she's hanging out under the sofa, and occasionally bats around a bell in

The disappearing for most of a day thing is totally normal kitty behavior when in a new place. I'm glad she came out when you were around to give her lots of love.

once Jeff pulls out his snazzy multithousand dollar camera, pictures will follow. except, the kitty is black, as is most of the furniture in our apartment, so not sure how well they'll turn out....
