*clears throat* Owning all the CCS manga and collecting Holic, I think I can say that Watanuki isn't related to Sakura. I don't really think he is related to Eriol either. Not a child of him, anyway. Eriol could see into the future (until the end but that would be super spoilerish if I said why) and I'd like to think he wouldn't subject any child of his to what Watanuki goes through. Besides, the fortune teller that Yuuko and Watanuki visit say that his parents are worried about his powers. I don't think Eriol would be worried because he would have made preperations for Watanuki ( ... )

I hate to hurt your feelings, but I find Tsubasa boring. Holic sucked me in because it is stuble. Buried in the antics of Watanuki and all the Japanese mythical references are little hints and comments that indicate something bigger is on the horizon. Plus, with Tsubasa, I can't adjust to the art difference from CCS. They're all so leggy and I'm not used to seeing Sakura and Syaoran like that. And the story isn't that appealing to me. I think that is the biggest part of it.
I'm not completely up to date on the manga. I've been buying it in English only. The English release isn't too far behind the Japanese, so I figure I can be patient on this one thing.

One of my best friends in rl is like that with xxxHolic ^^ she's been buying them all before anything else so yeah understand that...

And thats kinda the rest of clamp in comparison to tsubasa for me XD Chobits I got pulled in on but the really sketchy look and style always threw me off... one reason xxxHolic took a while cuz I was never fond of that really thin look ^^ I think its just depends on whatchya like XD Its why the others took a while.

Different preferences ^^ But thats where I compare things from as a resulst mostly are those two series... so I lean more towards what I get from Tsubasa as a result vs CCS which I've just very recently taken a renewed intrest in.
