tbf, it's not even a majority of peeps here who do things like that. and pointing out that radio and advertisers are going for a specific demo so why not play into that is not inherently ageist. it's unfair but it's just how advertising in chr radio typically works.

not lady r but anyone who has studied advertising knows that beyond typically the 18-34 demo is the one focused on and is why they report shares for it for radio and television

this is off generally speaking and excluding target advertising of other portions

And what has this got to do with Adam? Why are the fans here so delusional with saying, Adam's older fans are what is scaring radio away from playing him? Hmm...there is someone from that same AI demo called '- Stefano.

Look here, radio play has little to do with requests, songs and other bs. If that were the case, Adam would be one of the artists presently topping the charts since his fans are so dedicated. Radio is what corporates programme for djs to play. So stop with your manufactured reason you are using to put the blame on older fans.

The fact that his songs are not sitting atop even the HAC chart too negates your rant anyway since those older fans type is what is wanted on that format.

His lack of play is not about his songs, demo(imagined demo in ur heads) or anything of such. US Radio simply does not play gay artists. Not a single one of them and that should tell you what the problem is.

they obviously do since wwfm and iihy were played and popular. plus btikm and ncoe are being played. that's not the problem if there is one. i think it is too soon to tell
