well yeah he's trying to do damage control a bit

but wording aside i just hear he's a good person and above the media bullshit

npr was always going to talk about his sexuality and i think it's less awkward than, for example, a radio dj talking about it, since npr is a news organization. they're interested in how he's culturally relevant as much as they're interested in his music.

also, really conservative think that npr is very biased and liberal. i don't agree, i think it's the best way to get actual unbiased news in the us. but that shows you where npr falls in the political landscape so their listeners tend to be progressive and open minded so they'd be interested in adam's story.

i love that they said adam is the first openly gay idol contestant instead of saying he was in the closet like some. a+ reporting, npr.
