Instead of fighting a war on terrorism why don't we fight a war on what causes terrorism: poor living conditions, poor education, shortage of health care, yeah, pretty much inequality. We find ourselves “advancing” in many aspects of life at the expense of other countries. We export intense labor jobs to countries where people are willing to get paid nothing for their work. We find ourselves paying bare minimum for essential raw materials because we feel we have the right to take advantage of nations. And we find ourselves polluting foreign lands because it’s cheaper than cleansing our current practices. A war needs to be waged on better educating the people of foreign countries. I know this will pose a significant problem: PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO THINK FOR THEMSLEVES and expect better lives and deny being taken advantage of. We would never want that though. We need to provide health care and improve living conditions so people have a reason to live. This is the war we need to wage, not attacking Iraq for absolutely no reason other

"...because the government won't provide you funding". That's what you said. That means that health care is no longer privatized. That means that it is national...or perhaps you were referring to some bastardization of the two current concepts. Either way, it was not clear. If you're not referring to an all out nationalized system, it sounds like you want the government to buy/control the pricing of medicine. Well, once the government becomes the sole buyer, medicine is going to become more scarce because lack of competition will prevent companies from making meds since they can't make a buck. And, to address what someone else has said, that is actually happening in Germany as we speak. Right or wrong, it's true - people are motivated by money

Oh man, honestly....don't even bother with it. It's so bland I could die. It's like they didn't evolve at all. In fact, they've quite possibly DE-volved. The album is much more tame than the last one....wishy washy, even. Albums I would suggest, however, -try the new Pinback album called "Summer in Abbadon". Or try the new Interpol album...that one's really good. You might like The Postal Service, too. Just some food for thought. But I'd skip the APC album if you're looking for something even remotely edgy. For me, it's just too uninspired. This entry was too long.
