Wait, did I not comment on this? I was sure I'd commented on this. I liked it a lot, and a few comments I've seen here and there since that first encounter - including your post, thingswithwings' mention of the use of space, and chaila's discussion of where Ree is coming from that I didn't fully understand, not having read the book - are deepening the experience and the messages for me.
