Oh, wow, my heart is broken all over again. Neil, oh oh. Wonderful -- painful, but wonderful -- depiction of his passion for the stage, and what happens when a dream is denied. I was especially touched by the last verse: the self-satisfaction of the school as an organization (as society), never acknowledging their part in crushing a soul.

Sometimes, I will hear a song for the first time in a vid, and that song will become forever linked to that vid - no matter what other contexts I hear it in, it will always be that vid I see in my head as the song plays. This is without a doubt one of those vids. Astonishingly beautiful and sad.
