this is the third time Ive tried blogging in the last few minutes. For some reason the computer at this cafe keeps going off. Ashley and I are blogging at the same time on two separate computers....so try to keep up; we have a lot to say

Glad you made it to Italy. I think you will find the people more friendly in Italy. You need to constantly remind yourself that Europeans are NOT Americans. While there are so many influences and similarities, the cultural differences are subtle and sometimes exasperating--but remember that this is the time of your life! I think you will find Naples to be as poor as Greece, but things will get more "first world" the farther North you go. CIAO!
