that may have been tony bennet not frank sinatra, not that it really matters in the long run considering neither of them wrote the song... here we are: Carolyn Leigh & Cy Coleman. the true authors of "The Best is Yet to Come". the issue with the singer is that i'm not sure which one was singing it last night on npr.

isent hedrow dr ware the nays lived
thats y we went that way at 1st cuz they were with us
then we relaized it was shorter so we kept it up

well it's not a directions thing it's a knowing the name of the street you're walking/driving on (something which i don't know a LOT of the time) thing. who cares what the street name is as long as it takes you where you want to go?
