ok, i have discovered the cutest animal in the world, grant's desert golden mole. its scientific name is eremitalpa granti. it is by far the cutest thing i've ever seen...

hi ben! me and david saw this documentary about the animals of the desert and these were like the featured animal. they look even cuter when they're moving about... i basically completely lost my shit when i first saw them :)

Grant's Desert Golden Mole Soup

Gather about 300 of the moles. They are best caught by reading stories to them about lambs until they drift of to sleep, then hitting them on the head with a 2.5" hammer. Remove their still twitching noses and discard into a bin. Grate remaining body in a fine powder.

Saute three chopped onions in butter then add three cups of chicken stock and the grated moles. Heat. Mix in 3 to 27 red chillies to taste and serve in old jam jars.
