A lot has changed in my life since I first got this journal. Not sure where things will be as the future unfolds, but I've decided to filter my entries more, so I made all of my older entries "friends only

You may be able to hunt through Live Journal's instructional sections to make it so your pages aren't archieved by search engines (google et al).

I definitely understand the friends-only permissions. I'm going thru old posts to tag them and end up resetting many of the permissions along the way.
