Yes, I've started playing another
OWBC. Is't that AWESOME? I posted a brief introduction on
my Tumblr, and that's where I'll be putting most of the pic spam stuff. You can follow there under the tags #Go Fisch! and #isle of pink fowl. But large updates (containing more than a few photos) will likely be posted here because I hate how Tumblr compresses images in text posts. But here's the intro again in -hopefully- better quality...
This will take place entirely on a island, and you can see there's not much there yet. In fact I started with a completely empty neighborhood and had to add Townies myself. Mostly to keep the population as low as possible, and the neighborhood file in turn. But I'll show more of that later. Right now I need to introduce the founder...
Meet Marlin Fisch (a hint for the naming theme I'll be using). You can see he's already starting things out in OWBC fashion. He's a Knowledge Sim who wants to become head of the SCIA. I'm not sure how living on a very remote island is going to help him there, but I guess he's got a plan or something.
He's also into Nature, which is a good thing because he'll be spending a lot of time in it. I'm doing the Seasons bonus so I'll need to get a PlantSim and a wishing well before this is done and that means lots and lots of gardening.
So while he's building a sand castle mound, the Welcome Wagon arrives. Consisting of just ONE person...

Here's a list of the bonuses I'm attempting:
Base Game-
Have a gnome in the yard at all times, and fetched back when stolen.
Get a legit alien abduction before the end.
Go one generation without any job promotions.
University-
Every heir has to go to college.
Every heir must be able to do the xylophone trick on the pool table.
Create a zombie before the end.
Seasons-
Throw a party in the main house every season.
Obtain the wishing well before the end.
Obtain a PlantSim before the end.
Monster Mash-
Have a born-in alien that becomes a PlantSim, and a vampire, and a werewolf, and a zombie, and a witch. They must then summon the Genie, adopt Bigfoot, and some other stuff I need to look up again.
One Bad Apple-
Every generation must have an uncontrollable sim born into the main house. No clicking on them EVER until they reach college, and then it's only 8 commands a day without ever viewing their control panel wants or motives.
I guess I could have picked some harder bonuses this time around, but really I'm just playing this for fun. And I might add one or two more after I start playing. :)
