The journal has been blessed with a new layout! Finished it off tonight, it's not my best work, but it's certainly not my worst. Though it was an outright pain planning some stuff out about how it would look. But yeah, it's not half bad, I guess. XD
I really like it. It's been so long since I've made that kind of layout (ie. the hard kind). I love the picture and the colours. My only criticism would be that it's slightly hard when you're scanning down the page to see the the distinction between each entry, but that's something I find with a lot of journals. Anything short of a full-width divider or boxes round entries is too confusing for me, lol. It's certainly a lot easier that many other layouts I've seen. Nice work :)
Thanks for the critique, yeah, the dividers are just a temporary thing until I get the motivation to do proper ones. =D I can see how they would get confusing.
Man, the next one I do, it's gonna be simple. This was too much hard work and THINKING. XDD;
Can I ask a stupid question? Did you use S1 or S2? I'm tentatively thinking of making a new layout and I'd usually use S1 for that kind of thing, but I hate having to make the seperate entries/friends/etc styles. It would be great to be able to make it in S2.
Okies, the pics are from a manga series called Shinshi Doumei Cross, there's a link to the biggest site I could find about it in the sidebar. Some very nice scans on that site =D
