Just read Yami no Matsuei vol. 12...released oh...9 YEARS AFTER THE LAST UPDATE?!

FHHHRRRK, it was epic. And gay. Epically gay.

I love this manga all over again.

omg did she finally start it again? (can not for the life of her remember what happened in the first 11 volumes though except that Muraki is awesome and probably totally doing Hisoka)

YES. I think a lot of the content was redrawn but a few of the images are from way back before the hiatus.

Hisoka's dad JUST stopped getting...molested...by a giant snake demon. Seriously, he spent the last 9 years with that thing.

Muraki is still MIA and war is impending in the Shikigami world.

I'll have to send it to you whenever it's scanlated, OMG ITS AMAZING.
I don't think there's even a building that isn't ridiculously hot/rippling with muscles, or something like that.

Also Watari got a bit of a makeover, but he's still fuckwin.

There was some sort of unfortunate accident involved in it's hiatus, right?
It sounded like it was pretty permanent. I'm REALLY surprised. xD

I have no clue. The rumor was that the author injured her hand.
It must have been pretty serious to put things on hold for 9 freaking years.

Methinks that wasn't the whole story. There could have been some fracas with the publishers.

I mean...YnM was published in Hana to Yume, a major shoujo publication read by young girls.

And there was graphic tentacle sex going on there in the volume right before the manga went on its mysterious hiatus.

The conspiracy theorist in me wants to say someone might have blown the whistle, but the editors also let the tentacle sex get published, so...I dunno.

But I'm SO HAPPY. SO SO HAPPY that its up and running again. Vol. 13 better be on its way soon because those chapters HAVE been printed, they just need to be cleaned and compiled.
