Yes, yes, there is never enough time for anything...get the comics before you see the movie, of course. Because the movie is not actually that good. But the second movie looks rather better, so that is why I am so gung-ho about it.

Yarrr... Tell me about it... i gots this loverly hardback with shiny slipcover of Neil Gaiman's Sandman Volume One (which includes the first 20 issues) and how far have i gotten in reading it? Up to partway through #3, "Dream a Little Dream of Me..." (which is just fraught because of the movie that came out back in 1989 & featured Jason Robards & the song therein... i'd tell the story here but it's a bit of a sidetrack ;P)(Loving what i've read so far, though!)

So, it's like, sure, i'll get Hellboy, but when will i read it? Probly sometime in my 80's ;P

That said, i'm totally making note of your recommendation the second movie for future reference!

(Seriously, I think Guillermo del Toro has maybe improved his skills tenfold after El Laberinto del Fauno. There's some obvious influence going on there.)

I don't really mind! And omg, the whole Hobbit thing too! This week has been like JDFHJDFDFJFHJDBH in terms of fandom :D

Good god, that's even more than I thought. O.o (And I'm going to write an article on the subject for my school paper, too...) For serious, they're making another Mummy movie? Lord almighty.
