Today I finally got the joy of going shopping for respectable work clothes for my job (I have never had a real dress code before in my life, it is weird), which meant using my employee discount, because hey, department stores aren’t super-fancy, an employee discount alone should be enough to ensure a reasonable total cost, right

I am not looking forward to buying bunches of professional clothing, but apparently substitute teachers aren't supposed to show up to class in ripped jeans and novelty t-shirts? I don't know why that is.

Anyways, go to more thrift stores! Thrifting has totally spoiled me for clothing prices, because I know I can get a good looking blouse for like...five bucks, so why the hell would I pay ten times that.

If I ever need clothes for anything ever again I am never going to this department store, I swear to god. Thrift stores are probably much nicer for .005% the price. How the fuck is a shirt over $100? A coat, sure, but a shirt? Real life is crazy, I tell you what.

That is pretty cool, except for how sad it is that Black Widow's suit is shiny purple and not movie-compliant. But if she has long hair, I guess you could always give her a haircut, haha.

I do indeed! This is what Black Widow looks like (boo) and this is what Hawkeye looks like (decent, really, even if he can't hold the arrow worth a damn--and I note the picture doesn't actually include it, hah). The internet does tell me that there is a much more accurate Black Widow figure coming...at some point? It doesn't say when, and the article is from February, but there is a picture and I hold out hope!

Alas, I cannot cut Black Widow's hair. It is made of plastic. If it wasn't, I would have hacked it off thirty seconds after getting her out of the box.
