So I think, huh, maybe watching so many shows right now is making me multi-fannish to the extent that I don't feel as ~enraptured~ by any of them individually any more, that is sad, and then I find out Tiger & Bunny is getting a second season and I spend a solid minute rolling around on my bed in an uncontrollable paroxysm of glee and well I guess ( Read more... )

... I heard the news thanks to your post and I kind of screamed irl. And now I'm sitting here staring at the screen with a feeling that is a weird mix of elation and dread, because I want a second season like CRAZY, and yet I'm horribly worried that it will be crappy and disappoint me horribly D: I can't stand the idea of falling out of love with T&B T__T (and lol, I didn't know I cared about it so much, till now <.<;)

I'd previously heard that the director wanted to at least do some OVAs so he could show more of the characters who haven't had as much focus, so it seems to me that we'd at least get that, which is nothing to complain about. (Unless it turns out Rock Bison is, like, a secret axe murderer. But that seems unlikely.) And I know, stupid falling-in-love-with-a-series, it can burn you so bad and yet we would never regret it. *g*

I am in two minds about this.

On one side, I am mentally flailing with much enthusiasm and fangirly squee.

On the other, I'm just thinking, Oh please Sunrise, don't mess this up.

That seems to be the general opinion, yes! I remain cautiously optimistic, and mostly buoyed by the fact that this means there will be enough characters left to do a second season, so that awful theory that Kotetsu's gonna die dramatically in the finale is kaput. Which is a good thing, yes?
