I also still get bizarrely joyous whenever I hear Bet On It. I CAN'T HELP IT. (I have also made a habit of checking on youtube for the inevitable Bet On It youtube vid for any even reasonably large fandom.)

I put serious consideration into vidding it to Baccano!, but then I realized there is nothing Claire has ever regretted in his life, so it would be kind of hard to find clips for a lot of the lyrics. But I thought about it!

It's sad about Hetalia but a lot of the old guard seemed to have moved away ): I miss all the fun I had too.

On a lighter note, RORRRRRYYYYYY! It continues to pain me that he does not have an action figure. I would buy every variant and have a little army of Rorys milling about my desk making sarcastic/useless comments and being awesome.

I'm sure a new guard has come along by now, but yeah, it'd never be the same for us old fogeys. Why, when I got into Hetalia, we didn't even know we'd get a second season, young whippersnappers! And now you kids with your even-more-massive popularity and your available-for-legitimate-buying and your excess of canon. It's a travesty, I say. A travesty. We did have some good times, though, and I'll always be thankful for that.

They made a freakin' Roman soldier, why couldn't they make the third main character? :| Maybe in the next set. They did make a Peri, though, so um maybe I cannot be too harsh on them. *crosses fingers for Jo*

There WERE good times. Like Eurovision. And the Winter Olympics! (and finding your Marthafic and realising the delicious crossover potential). And those are happy fandom memories.

Rory is on NONE of the merchandise. Dude gets no respect! (I might have to just buy the Roman soldier and pretend.)
