Parts of the Thing are from Shin's perspective and I am trying very hard not to make a TOTAL SAPFEST, because you know this is the sort of thing he doodles in his dream journal. (The art teacher at Shirokin thinks he is very talented and wonders why he refuses to show his sketchbook to anyone.)

The one of the left is an apathetically cool semi-delinquent and the one on the right is the raised-by-yakuza homeroom teacher he's quietly but dorkily in love with. *g* They're kind of ridic adorable, is what I'm saying.
