HOWEVERS. I ( Read more... )

Deadwood is grand! The typical awesome HBO fare. Also, slightly slashy. ('Partners'. Yes.) I'm looking forward to seeing more--only seen the first two eps so far.

Yeah, I bet there's a world of Deadwood slash out there just waiting to be discovered (though may I just say that it would take very good writers to stick with the characterisation and style of speaking ... I should go find it one of these days).

Incidentally, if you haven't seen it yet, Deadwood Pancakes is worth a look. It just gets better the more of the series you've seen, frankly (not in a spoilery way - merely because you get a better ear for the language).

I'm glad life is good for you!

... In the meantime, I've been squeeing anytime Masi Oka and Sendhil Ramamurthy interact with each other. I've decided I really like this pair. Not in a slashy way, really, but as in a... adorably cute platonic buddies sort of way. They're just so cute together. And comfortable around each other. And... yeah. I've also found this and this.

... and I've just spent the last hour watching videos of Sendhil on YouTube. Instead of doing homework. I can't believe how addicted I am to this show, and I didn't even see it when it first aired... I think I started watching it online the night of the season finale (though it might've been the week before), and didn't catch up until 2 weeks later.

In the various YouTube clips, I learned that Sendhil spent some time in Europe, and is therefore more casually physically affectionate. From here. Kissy! Actually, in Asian cultures, too, the average 'personal bubble' is much smaller. Thus why Sendhil and Masi were so comfortable around each other, each with ( ... )

The entire Heroes cast is basically made of pure, undiluted love. Seriously, do any of them even faintly dislike one of the others? And the clinging! The clinging!

In fairness, not all British accents are created equal. Iiii can only think of Mickey from Doctor Who, but I'm sure there are others.

I don't think they do. Though I get an odd sense from Zachary Quinto. I'm not quite sure how to define it, though. It's just... something seems Different about him, compared to the rest of the Heroes cast. I don't know whether he's just sort of a loner, or all the attention is getting to his head, or what... and maybe I'm imagining things, or maybe I just haven't looked around enough, but it seems like the only time I've seen him interact with the other cast members in a way like the others do with each other, was the 'Sylinder' remark at Comic-con. I dunno. Then again, the North America part of the World Tour seems to be like the leftovers of the rest of the cast. You've got the sidekick, the kid, and the new girl, and then Sylar. Of those, only Zach and James have worked together, I think.

I'll have to look up Mickey from Doctor Who when I get home... whee, computer lab!

i think the blame lays squarely between elljay & my ADD for me not seeing this post earlier. Or i could just blame it on the day it posted being my eldest nephew's birthday that day & the shock of him actually responding to my "er, i forgot it was your birthday until the last minute" email left my brain so gesproingled that i totally missed it. Like that's important or anything but there's a part of me that always feels compelled to Explain.

I have managed to find enough time to make a (rather time-consuming) Doctor Who collage in Photoshop; there's a story about that, but I'll explain it later. (With pictures.) ANYWAY.

Yay! pictures! i'm always all for those! i can't wait! (well i can.. but it'll be painful.)

I'm happy, I'd just like an extra couple hours a day, that's all...

Take Happy & hold on to it tightly. 'Cause that time thing? It only gets worse! ;P

That said, i've been campaigning for a longer day for nigh on *checks B's age again* 8 years! ;D ;D
