SO either I could make a post about Umineko and the joys of bondage or I could do a meme with stuff more than one of you is familiar with, really there is not much choice in the matter is there. The other post will totally happen at some point, though. Because yes.

apparently i really like the master, umineko no naku koro ni, heroes, doctor who, torchwood, avatar: the last airbender (also korra), wild adapter, ain't no het in hetalia, baccano!, lost, monster, yes i am really very odd

sakdjf;lajfd Nice/Jacuzzi I SHIP IT SO HARD. And have found exactly zero fics of it. Actually, Baccano fanwork seems to be VERY SCARCE in general. Internet, you have failed to provide once again. (Although... you are writing a Nice/Jacuzzi fic for help_haiti, yes? :DD)

She has a canon boyfriend who is not annoying; he has a canon girlfriend who is pretty awesome; these respective relationships are adorable and interesting; they are cuter as friends.

There are a few Baccano! fics on the old Yuletide website and the new AO3 collection! --and, ack, looking at the new stuff has just made me headdesk because uh apparently someone has already written the fic I am writing for help_haiti. uhhhhhh. I have no problems with Katara/Aang and Sokka/Suki, but yeah, Mai/Zuko was the first to occupy a special place in my heart. ♥ She's so beautiful when she's hating the world! He thought girls liked that sort of thing! heartsssssss

I think what would annoy me most about this is the fact that if they were a couple, Zuko would have been reformed through the Power Of Love. Instead, he reformed himself by the Power Of Working Through My Stuff And Thinking For Myself, Yay! which is infinitely better. (Besides, Mai and Zuko are adorable.)

An excellent summation! Yeah, secretly I was kinda happy that it wasn't Katara's little speech at the end of S2 that gave him the final push; deciding it entirely on his own, with no one helping him, makes for a much stronger story and is a big reason why his is one of the best redemption arcs I've ever seen.

The reason I loved Mai/Zuko so much was that it was as hilarious and awkward as an actual teenage relationship would be.
