So, I've seen this around heroes_slash and kinda thought "that looks interesting" but I never got around to it. Last night, I decided to read it. I'm so glad I did! Not the hugest Petrellicest fan (more of a Moheter girl myself) but this is a great read. Funny, smart, deep, interesting...just everything you'd want in a story. Great job! :D
Some people watched TV. The Petrelli brothers made out in a closet. Really, it wasn’t that weird.
ROFL! That line is pure genius as is the rest of this amazing fic. I am so in love with this story. It is prob. - no def. the most perfect Petrellicest story EVER!
Heeeeeeee! Well, I don't know about 'most perfect'--I'm not one for saying anything is the best of anything, particularly my own. But people certainly do seem to like it. ;) (And people do seem to like that line, too.) Glad you're enjoying it so much!
You know one reason I love this story? All the fun lines in it. I swear, there are so many lines that could inspire a million stories in this one chapter alone. Here are my faveorite for part...whatever part this is:
(Three booths away, a young man in glasses was eating breadsticks. He wasn't especially worth paying attention to.)
Dude. That was so random, I actually started laughing. But, is that Gabriel? If so, that is so cool!
Some people built model airplanes. Some people watched TV. The Petrelli brothers made out in a closet. Really, it wasn't that weird.
If only all hot brothers thought that way. XD
Anyway, back to the actual story. You seem to be writing this at a million miles an hour. Please slow down! I can't stand all the updates, even if this is a great story! It's overwhelming! *faints*
That is indeed Gabriel! New York, cockroach, glasses, unimportant...I hoped people would get it. ;) And, oh no, I'm not writing this at a million miles an hour--I'm not what you would call a fast writer by any definition. This baby's been done since shortly before the first post. Started it in...eh...April? May? Probably sometime in May. And I didn't want to dump it all on you guys at once, so I'm spacing it out a bit, though evidently not enough. ;) Glad you continue to enjoy it so much!

My favorite line in this segment? Well, it would have to be:
Some people built model airplanes. Some people watched TV. The Petrelli brothers made out in a closet. Really, it wasn’t that weird.

Still loving this fic, and that line in particular :)
It is difficult to maintain idealism in the face of an endless stream of death and disease. Maybe Peter would realize:
Oops, this might have escaped me in the editing. Should really read "It would be difficult ..." Sorry!
