So how did I know, the moment I heard that there were some interesting IDs in the latest Leverage episode, that they were going to be Doctor Who references?

Now, Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy I can get behind. But seriously, Tom and Sarah Jane Baker? The writer's a lady. Whaddya bet we got a shipper on our hands, people?

Hehe. Though I must say, "Sarah Jane" is mingling it - they should have done pure RPF and said "Lallah Ward", unless they're as much against that combinations as the actors were when they got divorced.

Still on the subject of DW actors (and why we love them): quoth David Tennant, upon receiving an award for being a funny Scotsman: “Obviously I’m delighted to be part of Scotland’s greatest comedy moment, but the funny stuff is all down to Catherine Tate, I’m just her bitch."

I would've gone for Lalla myself (well, no, I probably would have done Ian and Barbara Chesterton, because I am even dorkier), but Lalla is not really a common American name. Also there's the divorce thing. So, really, Ian and Barbara Chesterton would've been quite a bit better, but they never listen to me.

DT: ahahahahaha. Oh, man, I hope to heck Big Finish gets the rights to do audios for those two--there just has to be more.

Maybe they will once The Romans and The Chase are out on dvd, which is due this month.

Yes, there was to be more. On the subject of DT and other DW alumni, seems
Peter Davison is all on board with the potential son in law thing...

Awww, how lovely! I did wonder if it would make for awkward family dinners, so it's good to see everyone's happy with it. (And, oh dear, what's with that other article claiming Michelle Ryan to be "the sexy new companion"? Somehow that makes me uneasy...)
