I have been incommunicado for the last few days! And yet, I spend most evenings endlessly and desperately refreshing my flist to see what the rest of y'alls are saying. Part of that may be due to a funky school schedule which, for this week only, gives me more time in the evenings and mornings, which leaves me baffled as to what to do with that ( Read more... )

wonderfalls, i have a crush on every boy, my life and welcome to it, i like television, pushing daisies, yes i am really very odd

And thus I have now seen up to, hmm, 'Lying Pig'. On one hand, we are clearly not supposed to like Eric's wife, and I don't, partly because she's annoying and partly because that whole arc is annoying. On the other hand, she's a wife named Heidi and she's played by Jewel Staite. CURSE YOU, FULLER. MY ONLY WEAKNESSES. So, my opinion of that episode and the couple before that: overly-dramatized romantic arcs are boring, even if everyone involved in them is crazy-cute (sometimes literally), but Lee Pace still makes me all wibbly and so maybe I do not mind the thing with Mahandra so much.

There is one memorable instance where Mahandra calls Eric's wife "the Heidi Ho," I think that made the whole arc bearable for me. But in general, yeah, boring. It doesn't help that next to the Tylers, Eric stands about the chance of a dog biscuit in a polar bear den to come up as interesting.

And isn't Aaron awesome? I love Aaron. I want to be Aaron. Or at least have him as my older brother (which could get difficult, as Lee Pace is younger than me, ( ... )

I loved "the Heidi Ho". Man, if you still get lines like that in an arc that sucks, you know you've got a good show.

I...may have had a brief moment of thought that went something like "omg, I wish Aaron were my brother. *pause* Wait, no, that could be awkward. Neighbor. Let's go with neighbor."

I certainly shall talk about Soldier's Girl after I see it! Hell, how could I not? WWII, Lee Pace, and non-standard views of sexuality. It's like it was made for me.

It's like, you stare at the screen and you wonder how you could have possibly decided you were ready to go back, and then a tiny little part of your subconscious grabs the reins in a huff and just starts throwing words out there. Yay, tiny little part of your subconscious!

When Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day comes out on DVD, I am SO buying a copy. Lee Pace (who plays the piano, and is hot, and sings) AND Amy Adams (who flirts and wears awesome clothes, and is hot, and sings). IT'S IRESISTABLE.

I KNOW. Seriously, I do not think there is a single thing Lee Pace has been in that I would be opposed to seeing. It may help that he hasn't actually been in much, but I swear, that guy's agent has a good eye.
