I'm squeeing over here, too. (Have heard complaints that Nite Owl looks too fit, but people have been quick to point out the pictures are from the 70s flashbacks - as evidenced by the very much alive and gun firing Comedian - at during that period, Dan would have been. Fit, that is.)
More squeeing about the last part of the interview the adorable David T. gave to Welsh tv yesterday (or so). The best bit comes near the end, when he's asked which shows he watches. Guess? Guess?
Now that The West Wing is over, Heroes. And Life on Mars, again, because of John Simm. And then he says something v. intriguing about the Master...
Ooh, yeah, that makes sense! I did think he was a bit athletic-looking...but if it's in the seventies, shouldn't the Silk Spectre be, like, fifteen? And she looks rather older than that. Hmm.
Oh my god that interview is awesome and adorable and it is probably not possible to love that man any further. And of course the Master's coming back sooner or later. The question is if the new guy'll be half as good as the marvelous, marvelous John Simm...
Yes, she does, but I'm used to 30 years old women playing teenagers, so maybe that distorts my vision.*g*
Well, maybe the BBC can lure John Simm back for an encore. After all, the Master didn't regenerate. The bastard. In celebration, have one of my favorite Ten/Simm!Master stories, in case you don't know it already!
I approve of this theory and insist that that is what will actually happen (even though a new Master would probably have to be similar to the new Doctor, unless he comes back for the specials which seems unlikely, and I doubt the new Doctor will be in the exact same vein as David Tennant).
That is an excellent story and I have indeed already read it, but damned if I can figure out where I found it before. Quite worth a re-read, though. Mmm.
