Okay, pilot for a new Brit show called Being Human: god I hope this gets picked up, I love it. Yeh. Tell you what, I'll upload it to Megaupload tonight and put up a link in an flocked post tomorrow. Golly, I feel so...rebellious. But I'm American and thus there is literally no legal way for me to acquire it, so I do not think it is such a big problem.

EDIT: Wait, crap, it's too big for Megaupload. Drat it all.

Yays, I'm so glad people are watching this! There's a few fan comms up on lj already, the Beeb have to see there is an audience :) I just did an few icons for it back at my journal if you're interested. How could you not love a show where a werewolf does a little scream of glee about vegetables?!

I noticed your icon post, yeah! And, oh dear, I appear to have gotten sucked into the fic community already. I could have spent the last twenty minutes more productively, but that wouldn't have been nearly as fun, now would it?

My favourite bit of the whole thing HAD TO BE that gay sequence with the woman. Though she, personally, scared me a little.

And in close second the bathroom scene, particularly when George started cleaning his arse. I mean... wtf? And clearly, he is used to being naked in front of Mitchell.

That whole flat sequence was just so happy! Really, I think that's why I like the show--amidst all the pretentious vampire drama, there's a happy little core of shameless domesticity. And, er, semi-random nudity. I WANT MORE OF THIS SHOW. *glares meaningfully at the BBC*

Argh, I'm trying to get a two-part file uploaded to Megaupload--the full thing's 700 MB, so I used HJSplit to make it into two 350s (which can then be rejoined with the same program), and I managed to upload the second one, but not the first one, and it takes eight hours to do it and my computer's battery is being weird and wargh. But, uh, here's the second part in advance, even though you can't do anything with it yet. HJSplit is really quite awesome--freeware, very simple, very safe. And very, very useful.
