i must sadly admit that not only did i not get around to reading other people's stuff, i never even managed to vote for yours that which i have. Life just got in the way too much. This is traditionally a bad time of year for me as it is, but with the extra Josh Stuffnthings, it has been phenomenally, er, distracting.

Still, i'm glad for the things you did win & i'm sorry, i have to say in my most biased tone of voice, you EARNED 'em! If i had it my way, you'd've won 'em all. Maybe even the ones you weren't even nominated for!

It is no trouble that you couldn't find the time to read and vote--like I said, it's an Internet award, it shouldn't be stressful. And I will admit that I certainly worked hard enough with the BDPS, but that's not the point--the point is that other people worked harder. The BDPS was a rough rookie effort, and it doesn't sit right with me that it beat out stuff that deserved it much more.

I just find it a little hard to be celebrating when I know one of my awards probably has one of the most contested results. Hell, I didn't vote for it--not sure what I did vote for, admittedly. Probably A Tiny Platform.

(I, personally, would wear something completely ridiculous and grin like a loon all the way up the red carpet; all of the reporters would try to guess who my designer was, and eventually it would come out that I'd thrown it together out of thrift store castaways and curtains.)
