Praise be to the Lord for Doris Egan; she is as unto a deity herself. I am sure that something must be said for Leonard Dick, her co-writer, but Doris Egan is the one whom I know has spoken openly and approvingly

Can I be very very sneaky and ask exactly what happened on House?

Well, it was revealed that Wilson's dating Amber--have you seen the first half of the fourth season? If you haven't, well, House's nickname for her was Cutthroat Bitch. House discovered this, pestered Wilson about it endlessly, asked him why he would possibly be interested in a conniving, controlling, jackass--and then House got this great stunned look on his face and said, oh my god, you're not sleeping with her, you're sleeping with me.

I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP.

And, then later! He and Wilson are talking by Wilson's office and Wilson actually says well, why shouldn't we be sleeping together? We've been through enough, and we've practically been together for years anyway.

Again, I say: not making this up. And those are only the two highlights of a spectacularly slashtastic episode, but seriously--those are some damn, damn good highlights.

OH MY GOD THAT IS AMAZING.

I stopped watching House maybe a year or so ago (not for any particular reason, I just wasn't keeping up with it) but I still have WAYS and MEANS and now I am going to FIND THIS THING OF JOY AND WATCH IT.

YES, DO IT. The whole fourth season is quite good, actually--shakes things up a bit. And by "shakes things up", I mean "well, if you liked Chase or Cameron, sorry, but it's fun and the new people are cool!"

Yup, Amber came back and induced some truly spectacular levels of gay. I never had any particular thoughts about her before (although I thought it would be kind of cool if she was the one who got to stay with Thirteen and Kutner, not Taub), but now I love her to bits.

I want to get to Torchwood too, dammit, but it's just a matter of time for me. Such is life.

Oh, Taub's fine, I just thought it would be cool if two of the new fellows were female. But that Cannot Happen, unfortunately (as Amber said, way back when), so Thirteen remains alone.
