Half a Postcard

Anyone send me a postcard recently?

The postmaster sent me half a postcard with an apology from the postal service. There is no postmark. There is a cherry blossom ink painting on the front and my address on the other side. I can make out the following words...

... flies are
... aries are
... idwest
... be nice
... current
... ago.

That is too funny, at least you got the half with your address, otherwise it would have been lost forever. The fragments are pretty interesting.
