Sometimes people confuse me. That’s not quite right: the people don’t confuse me; it’s their actions that confuse me. For example RV camping. My aunt is mad about it. Like people who love some obscure TV show and put all of this energy towards something that just seems random and pointless to me.

Hmmm...you don't know a lot of geek types, do you? I can explain this, and maybe it will help with the rest.

The way you can achieve greatness and importance is through PEOPLE.

Your human contact with other people, your enlightenment, your brightness of being, your wonder, your teachings, your questions as to why they choose this mean of relaxation and what it means to them, your reaction and conversation/banter with PEOPLE is what can help you understand, empathize, inspire and lift you.

It is through PEOPLE and that contact that you can achieve your delusions of grandeur again. Think of the possibilities!
