This episode is giving me a headache. I hate those Da Vince Code/National Treasure movies that are just a pointless string of events. I think I'm getting plot point sickness.
You know, one of the best compliments the show got was that it actually used its setting. I completely agree with you. Right now, sci-fi and the future seems to have been completely dropped for pop culture...
I didn't care for this ep simply because they dumbed Fry back down again (a la season 1). I liked the fact that this season, it seemed the writers had matured him a litle bit. This felt like a step backward.
I liked the idea of DaVinci's primitive spaceship, but couldn't fully enjoy the ep.
See, I felt like this one was far more mature than the eyePhone episode, and far smarter than the Prop Infinity one. But it can't beat the opening episodes of this season...
I will agree with you there. The first two eps were awesome. Rebirth is still my favorite so far. The eyePhone & Prop Infinity ones were 'meh' to me - not the greatest, but bearable.
This episode reminded me of the Family Guy episode Petarded. The only thing that was missing to make this episode complete was the "testicles" line at a fast food joint.
...Wow. That was really bad. Maybe that's why it's not up anywhere. Seriously, it was the least funny episode I've ever seen of Futurama. Even 1 and 2 seemed good by comparison.
And I know it's been said many times over, but what the hell happened to Leela?
My beef with the Professor is that they seem to be writing him from the "angry" angle all the time. The funny thing about the Professor being irrationally angry was that it happened sparsely. That's what makes absurd humor and non-sequiturs funny--you don't expect them. Let's throw in some senile, amoral Professor, okay guys? Please.

...Or was it so bad that no one wants to repost it?
