Fandoms, since NSYNC I always seem to pick ones that have this "anger" in them...first As The World Turns with all the drama, now I'm kinda watching these German soaps, and German fans are tough!

So what I'm trying to do is not get so involved and just enjoy what I like and who cares what anyone else thinks.

I feel so bad for you, too, because you went into one of the most batshit crazy fandoms possible - soaps.

Your new approach is really the only way to do it. Once you get too involved, you're just asking to get hurt. I always told myself to enjoy the 2 years I got with any couple, because after that, they will be ruined. And, like clockwork, that's how it always happened.

And goodness, if US soap fans are tough, I can only imagine the German fans. How are you holding up?

If you thought it was gloom and doom in any of your fandoms the Germans ALWAYS expect the worst and they always, always are negative even when something great happens. It must suck to be an actor there!

I just try to stay away, and sometimes I spoil myself and sometimes I am surprised.
