Maybe it was the fact that I was in the bathtub at the time, but it felt big to me--definitely bigger than the 4.whatever a while back which was the biggest one I'd been through so far.

Oh crap, I hope you kept most of the water in the tub! lol

I've been through bigger, but even they didn't *FEEL* this big. Weird. Glad we're all good! For things like this, it's mostly just making sure to check gas lines and stuff to make sure it's all okay. :)

LOL, that whole description was perfect. It's that moment of.. "Should I get up and go to the door? Should I stay here? If it continues and I'm here, will it only lead to something horrible and what if this is the big one and I'm spending all this time debating on whether or not I should get up?"

But by the time you're done, it's over, and you feel a fool. But just in case, that one time, you think too long, and it's some horribly huge earthquake that makes California break off into the ocean (just our luck that it actually *does* happen in our lifetime!), and.... you die. Wah wah.

Oh, earthquakes, you would.

Glad you're okay, too!

(Oh, and I'm just now realizing that I never friended you back. I actually don't think I've friended anyone new in years, so it's my bad. Hope you don't mind, I'm gonna do it right now.) :)

Dude, the last one we had was a 4.8 and then within the week, a 4.7 and they BOTH felt HUGE. Oddly, one was a surface earthquake, which felt like we were on some kind of weird bunch of rollers and one was a deep one, so it felt more like we were shaking. And the second one felt much worse than the first. I decided I'm glad I don't live where you do. I'm not an earthquake fan, for sure!!
