I just came home for lunch really quickly and read in a SPN community that Kim Manners died today. Apparently Jim Beaver posted an update on his MySpace and his Facebook about it. Aw, man. I didn't watch SPN but he was a huge part of the X-Files and Lone Gunmen series. Fail. :(

The X-Files was where I first knew him, too. He was so important to that show, to its look and feel, and I was so happy that he had joined SPN.

I had no idea he had lung cancer.

Yeah, I've been his 'friend' on My Space for a while now, so I'm pretty sure it's real.
This just breaks my heart - from all I ever heard about him, he was an amazing person. My daughter is going to go on to film school after graduation, and she wanted to BE Kim Manners, or of his caliber.
Damn, this is heartbreaking.
