I have a fourteen-year-old cat who is as much a member of the family as I am, so I completely understand. *hugs* The connection to your mom is deep and long, and for me, something that still surprises. Every once in a while, I'll be reminded of her through something just loosely related and I feel it again, the loss.
As for Diary of the Dead, I know it's only a quick fix but if you're jonesing for zombies, I understand that the last episode of Supernatural might just hold you over. ;-)
wrt laundry, they should totally do such a study - I know I always wait until the very last possible moment, like the laundromat is toxic or something. I know it's stupid, but despite various attempts to alter that, somehow it never sticks
serisiously don't know how you're doing without internet at work. It's my metal break for a few mintues during the day.
Sorry to hear about your cat. I completely understand. I was a wreck when my dog from when we were growing up passed and i know when DJ, my cat passes (which is hopefully not soon since he's only 9) I know I'm going to be a mess. I don't think you're having him cremated is weird, I'd do the same. Stuff the pet though, that's a little creepy.
VDay was only good for me - cause my new little nephew Ryan was born. Otherwise the holiday is nothing to me :)
and a day where Hilary makes a fool of herself is always a happy day!
Awww.*hugglesyou* Pets are a HUGE part of the family, and when we lose them, especially so suddenly and unexpectedly, it's bound to be hard to deal with. They're links to our past too, so many memories of when they joined our family, how we grew up with them. Our puppy is old and acting a little odd and I'm so glad (selfishly) that hubby has to take her to the vets, just in case. *hugsyoumore* I don't understand why they can't have a longer season this year for the shows. With Supernatural, we'll get what? 17 or 18 episodes for the year? That's going to suck when it comes to buying the season on DVD. Unless they fill the dvd with much random Jared/Jensen stuff. I've gotten so far away from TV lately, it's rather strange. The only thing I really watch is Supernatural. And hockey. :o)
