I like Jake a LOT now. I'm almost through book two and I just ... yeah, I like him. I feel like I understand where he's coming from now too, since we get to see inside his head for once (which is SUCH a relief from being in Bella's head. UGH.)

And yeah, I think that this is the best book in the saga. Well, at least so far. I'm really loving it. :)

Yeah, same. Before, I couldn't really get him, just because we never got to see where he was coming from. Now that his emotions and his train of thinking is being explained, I can sympathize with him alot more.

And weird enough, from what I accidentally saw from the visual bookshelf discussions about Breaking Dawn, alot of people hate this last book (and Marcy does too, but she's only like, three chapters in). I don't understand how they could hate this book~~ Maybe because it's not so "OMGEMOANGSTILOVEYOUEDWARDCULLENCUZYOURESOHOT!!" and "OMGEMOANGSTILOVEYOUTOOBELLASWANBECAUSEYOURBLOODFRIGGIN'-SINGS-TOME!!!" D: So now that the two of them are actually acting like they're in a healthy relationship, the teeny boppers and co-dependent teenagers are throwing a hissy fit (pun intended).

I know Mary's having problems getting through the first few chapters because she finds Bella's wedding anxiety boring. Can't say I blame her :P but after that I really don't get it because I'm finding this book far more interesting than the last two (Twilight not included, of course).

I think it just seemed too .... fast and ... unnecessary. I don't know, I kinda wish it had been cut to a smaller chapter, or half a chapter or something. I don't know.

But yeah, after that, it gets so good!

I feel mediocre towards Edward. The only reason he seems cool now is because he kinda doesn't have any choice but to give Bella everything she wants instead of putting her down and telling her that she doesn't have any clue what she's talking about. Edward isn't becoming more likable because he's changing; he's becoming more likable because the plot is forcing him to.
