I know what you mean. I get rather insulted when someone insinuates that religious people are a bunch of brain-washed idiots. I have a will of my own, thank you, and I choose to have faith from that free will. I'm certainly not brainwashed, and judging by my GPA in high school and college as well as my SAT score, I'm certainly NOT an idiot.
