Hang in there, Mahaado-chan. I'll be down later today to come get you.
Do I cloak? I probably do. Most of us from Wutai do, just to keep curiousity-seekers away from the village, and so other oogling commoners don't suspect anything. In fact, even among Shinra, only the Turks and command staff know.
[OOC: In a way, refer to my in-progress fic "Legendary Titans of Gaia" for a bit of information on some of one of my Tseng's magical abilities. Currently at 7 chapters.]
Is there any way that you could teach me how to cloak? If I ever am sent on active missions, it would be... well, a nice surprise for any opponents. And I've rarely met mages who can cloak their power; most were quite old and experienced and wary of 'young whippersnappers.'
[OOC: Mahaado evidently doesn't know honorifics, but -chan? XD I'll probably read the fic when I have time.]
Can I teach you to cloak? Perhaps. The best way to learn is to spend some time in the secluded village of Wutai, but they are not fond of outsiders...and they're not fond of me any more either.
Once I actually start using magic, I'm no longer cloaked. But I can keep the energies surpressed if I'm not using it and I'm among commoners, the public, or anywhere else that I don't wish it to be broadcast.
[OOC: Tseng uses -chan more out of habit and doesn't necessarily expect anyone to use honorifics in return. But if one chooses to, he doesn't mind. He'll use -san later as he gets to know a younger person better.]

I suppose I'll see you later, sir.
[OOC: Ah. Mahaado isn't of Wutian(?) or pseudo-Asian descent, anyway, and doesn't know what it means. I did, though.]
