I'm know I'm a bit anal when it comes to my comic books and their covers but I just had the TPB of Star Wars: Prelude to Rebellion (from an Amazon seller) land on my desk this morning, and I'm not pleased. I think it had been use for frisbee practice by Royal mail. Bunch of cuntpuffins.

Productive weekend south of the border. Feel much ( Read more... )

Wicky. Meg and I will be around in Nottm this wekend. Wanted to see if we can organise a kitten-prodding session. If she'd prefer me to be proactive, I'd be happy to call her - but alas I'd need her number (and permission) to do this.

First, 'cuntpuffins' is an amazing word.

Second, I do something similar in the gym with Monty Python and The Goon Show recordings.

Back to the Future trilogy martincutbill July 31 2006, 09:32:18 UTC
Is it really that good? I mean, is the trilogy really that good?

The first one is a masterpeice, but I remember being far less enamoured with two & three...

Watching them all together, the way they overlap, interweave and mirror one another is just a joy to behold. Perhaps the others don't work as well stand-alone, but when viewed together it become one funnfunfun time-travelling epic.

With a DeLorean.

For me 3 is the weak one in terms of trillogy. Though it works quite well as a stand alone.

I remember being particually impressed with the way Two weaves in and out of One -- that was impressive. I seem to recally Three kinda stood out on its own.

But you're right about the DeLorean. Everything is better with a DeLorean.
