I lie on a hard, narrow table in a bleak, sparely appointed room. A chill is beginning to permeate my existence. I know there is a monstrous machine of radioactivity lurking behind me, waiting to pierce my brain.
Oh, hon, this is INTENSE. Oddly enough, I have a cousin who recently underwent a similar scenario, complete with mesh bodyguard/inadvertent Halloween decoration, but for metastasized breast cancer. I am over here booing your uninvited guest's comeback but I am glad to hear there is a non-invasive means to eradicate him! I wish you the best of luck in your treatments! <3
Yes, they told me how they use this equipment for other organs. It even is smart enough to compensate for breathing when the cells to be removed are situated on a part of the body that has to keep moving, like your chest. Best wishes to your cousin!
By the time this thing grows back, (I'm told perhaps fifteen years), I'm hoping that even more amazing technology will be ready for it. What's especially gratifying is that there's no pain and no risk of infection such as would be present with surgery.

Ooh, what a nifty beast! I’m glad it is able to kill the tumor so effortlessly! Best wishes for a full recovery. ❤️

That is incredible, truly! I've never even had so much as an MRI done, and this seems similar but more intense. Best of luck in your recovery!
