So, yesterday, I asked my mom if I could go to New York Anime Festival next Saturday. Usually my parents are a bit iffy with cons, giving me lines such as 'Why are you going? Aren't you too old for those?' or 'Why? Don't you have schoolwork to do?'. But...my mom...was surprisingly very okay with it. She had NO problems whatsoever with me going ( Read more... )

Ah, well, you can go to the site, newyorkanimefestival.com for information about the con. ^^

As for traveling there, we might be taking the train there. I'll get back to you as soon as possible with the full details. ^^

As for the thrift shop, cosplay thing...we can go sometime next week maybe. But keep that suggestion your mom gave you in mind. ^^

Don't know about the tree Java. With the way the dollar is doing, we're going to be swamped with foreign tourists. There's nothing wrong with them, it's just really crowded sometimes.

We can try, but if we're going that way, we might as well go to Nintendo World too.. since it's like 5 feet away from the tree..

I guess I'll be buying stuff too now, since I don't need to save my money anymore.

it doesn't hurt to try the tree though~! ^^ but yeah, it probably will be a tad crowded XP

Nintendo World sounds fun! Oh! and last time I was there, I saw what looked like a cute little manga shop nearby. Perhaps we can go to that as well ^^

awww, sorry if you didn't get into the Florence trip, Plant. But, I guess I'll be joining you guys for the trip on Saturday, since I'm not in any rush to get back to AU after the con.
