In other legal news: the brief from my instructing solicitors today stated that my defendant "has had a heroine problem for the last 8 years."
I had to resist the temptation to ask: "Wonder Woman or Supergirl?"

Funnily enough, I was just about to tell the story of when I received an Incapacity Benefit application form from someone suffering from that terrible, life destroying, addiction to long beaked wading birds....
