So I recently obtained a partial fursuit, and I'm taking it to a convention tomorrow. So excited!
One question I have is in regards to pants.
I have a pair of digitgrade feetpaws, but I don't want to wear skinny jeans with the suit because that would just look silly.
What's the best kind of long pants to wear? Flared jeans? Boot cut?

Hey guys, I thought I'd share a fun tutorial I came across that would make an AWESOME fursuit accessory/prop.

You know how many folks have necktie accessories? Why not have a custom one to fit your character? Real neckties are a little under-sized, so why not make one scaled up?

Don't know if there's one out there. I looked around our memories to see if there was one already but couldn't find the darn thing. I have a new full suit coming in tomorrow but the feet have sewn paw pads…I want to take care of them and make them look amazing for as long as I can. I see this happening with some suit sandals!

Edit: Going with the elastic attached to the hat to loop around the ear idea c: Unfortunately the backing of my silver fur is way too weak on the head and ripped a bit (easily fixed with some hot glue temporarily!) but I know the backing on the white/black is stronger! Thankyou!

I've been commissioned by some friends to make fursuit sized bandanas for them. So here's my question, do you make a square or just do a half triangle? i.e. make a square and cut it down the middle. Also strait stitch or a zig zag stitch for the edges? I have snaps and all that jazz, I just want to know the best way to make them ( Read more... )

Can anyone suggest to me a good material to use for earrings on a fursuit? I'm making a fennec fox that has huge ears so I don't really want to use real metal since the rings would have to be quite thick to look proportionate and would probably weigh the ears down. Has anyone got any experience or ideas that might help? Thanks!

I was sitting here looking at my fursuit head of Majin and I'm really coming to hate the way I've done her glasses. I would like very much to make a new pair for her/buy a new pair for her.
