They just made a announcement that all paw pads must be sewn on. It's been my experience that it's easiest to sew them on like you would sew on a spot. I prefer a hooked needle.

they didn't used to need to be sewn, the old fleece backing held up wonderfully with just glue, Spottacus has damn near beat his suit to death he wears it so much, put hundreds of hours into it in all kinds of places including the streets of San Francisco and concerts, and all he has lost in 2 year's time was one toe pad... this new backing though :/ or at least their first non-fleece one, I dun like it at all...

D: I must've missed that. This is going to make my life a bit harder while building out the rest of my stilts. (It's a quad and the forearm stilts are... challenging... already.)

Thanks.

Who made an announcement about sewn-in-only pawpads? XD;

Also E6000 doesn't hold against fleece which is glued against silicon and also against the fur backing? I never attempted it yet, but was going to asap.

Silicone is very picky when it comes to glue. If things pop off again, I know of a few solutions ( ... )

Whoa snap, you're not kidding! Still, "overbuild" is kind of my mantra with this suit, so I'll keep an eye out for equivalents.

... like the ones you're listing. Ooh.

I think I can redesign everything to be sewn first with the adhesive as sort of an auxiliary attachment point, but I'll definitely do my research on these too. Thanks.
