Hooves?

So I'm using the tutorial to make hooves that uses the gutter piece and the plaster (hawke.livequest.de/hooves) and I'm on step four with the glass fiber and resin and I'm confused. Can someone clarify? What do I do? What is glass fiber?

How heavy would they be? And I could make the hooves any shape, right?

Could I use sealed paper clay or would that be a bad idea?

Sounds like they mean fiberglass resin. I wouldn't recommend using it unless you have a respirator or a large, open, outdoor area to work in. I'd combine tutorials and go from a point you can work with from the tutorial familiar linked.
